Is it Worth it to Rent a Car from Denver?

No, it’s usually not. Here’s why:

Successful airport transportation should have:

Value

It’s cheaper to ride our shuttle than fill your gas tank, equip your car with the right winter tires/chains, & pay for parking or a hotel
Parking is a scarce commodity in Breckenridge & costly! Skip the overnight parking fees for a car that you simply don’t need.
Curbside pick up at baggage claim – no shuttle to ride to the rental counter to then wait in line to get your car for another 30-60 minutes!
Don’t stress missing your flight with rental return delays or stopping to refuel
Reduce I-70 congestion & our carbon footprint!

Safety

Our safety record is exceptional! Our drivers are trained to understand I-70’s many challenges, (ie. snow storms, chain laws, steep grade driving, reacting to dangerous drivers, etc…).
All our vehicles are equipped with the BEST Nokian Winter Snow Tires & rear dual tires
A rental car is NOT equipped for mountain driving conditions. Most are not AWD or 4X4, nor do they come with the correct snow tires, chains or even an ice scraper!

Convenience

We have 15 pickups every day all winter in the mountains and at the Denver Airport.

Keystone airport charter buckle up summer

From now on, these guys are my new shuttle service when travel around Colorado. We had a mishap with our luggage while on our way to Breckenridge. When we realized it, United Airlines called me and explained to me that I had to go back to the airport. Scott, from Summit immediately asked me if he could speak to the rep.

Long story short, Scott tried to explain to the rep that they can go back to the airport and pick up our luggage…they’ve done it before for customers in the past. Unfortunately, United couldn’t give us a straight answer, so my friend and I had to make the 2 hour drive back to Denver.

Either way, Summit and Scott were amazing. They gave us a great rate to go back to the airport and back to Breckenridge.

Go with Summit if you plan to make trips around Colorado. I highly recommend them.

I want to thank you for your excellent services yesterday in particularly lousy weather. Your team called me on Saturday to alert me to impending weather concerns and the fact that I might have troubles making my flight home Sunday. The dispatcher put me on an earlier than planned shuttle and got me to the airport on time. The trip from FTC to DIA took four hours and your driver Dave did a nice job. I will use your service again and I will recommended it to others. The bottled water was appreciated as well.

Absolutely loved working with Summit Express! Could not have been better. We were shuttled from DIA to Breckenridge various times over two months, using 28 shuttles in total. Not once did Summit Express make a mistake, every transfer was perfect. Always on time!

They were flexible when we had to change our schedule multiple times at the last minute, courteous to our needs, and they really cared about making us content with what we were buying.
