Can my cousin marry us?
One of the most unique aspects of any Colorado wedding is the officiant. Your cousin, brother, uncle, or best friend does NOT need to become ordained online to preside over your ceremony. Legally, couples may solemnize their marriage in Colorado. This means that you do not need an officiant or witnesses. You do need a license that may be obtained weekdays at a County Clerks office in Colorado. Fill out the short application. Both parties will need to provide a legal form of identification. The fee is $30. You will receive your license valid for 35 days in about 15 minutes.
