In Breckenridge this weekend?
WAVE had its opening day and it was a home run for the festival! The popularity of the exhibits have been nothing short of amazing. The best time to go is after dark but it is well worth it. Check out inviting exhibits like the “Angels of Freedom” exhibit by OGE Group. It has a pair illuminated wings and a halo that calls for you to stand under it. Be mind blown by “Elantica” created by Tom Dekyvere. It will make the wheels in your head turn as solar panels and e-waste join hands in this futuristic sculpture. But wait, this weekend can be filled with more than just lights. There are interactive exhibits with sound like “Interphase,” an interactive musical light sculpture that can challenge your creativeness. Films focused on the themes of WAVE can be seen at the Riverwalk Center. Concerts like Les éléments du NRO has performances from 7-9 p.m. on the Riverwalk Center patio. This and more will be encompassed within the WAVE festival so make your way there. More details about what you can find at WAVE can be found on the Summit Daily website.
