Two days ago, the moment most of us here in Summit County wait for finally happened. . . Arapahoe Basin has started snow operations!! Yes. It’s official. The snow guns have been blowing over the last few nights when the temperature has dropped low enough. It’s always hard to part ways with the warmer weather but once the snow starts blowing it’s hard not to think about the season ahead.
Last season, Arapahoe Basin kicked off the season on October 13th and went through June 3rd for another amazing year, lasting 233 days. Do you know what that means? It means you need to start thinking about your winter trips and don’t forget the season here in Summit starts early. With snow making already in process they may even be able to open even earlier than last year. The aspens are already losing leaves. Could this be the early season we’ve all been waiting for? Give us a call at 970-668-6000 and book your winter adventure today. Come enjoy our favorite time of the year with us!
