It’s a great time to take in a play! Cozy up to two very different comedies this week at Lake Dillon Theater Co. I think the reviews articulate the heart of each play pretty well:
“A heart-wrenching, hilarious play…One of the funniest plays you’ll ever see about depression—and possibly one of the funniest plays you’ll ever see, full stop…There is something tough being confronted here—the guilt of not being able to make those we love happy—and it is explored with unflinching honesty.” —The Guardian
A comedy about newly weds dealing with each others’ differences, their over priced apartment, and a meddling mama. “A BUBBLING, RIB-TICKLING COMEDY.” – The New York Times
They’re sure to give you food for thought and conversation. Speaking of food…
The Dillon Farmers’ Market is Friday from 9 AM to 2PM on Lodgpole Street in Dillon, CO. It’s such a quintessential Fall activity- so is wearing layers 😉 Here are my favorites at the market:
- Elote (eh-LO-tay)- Mexican Street Corn. YUM.
- The strawberry lemonade at the stand with the long line.
- Eagle Smoked Salmon
- A variety of jewelry vendors. Sparkle, sparkle bright star!
- Just strolling for possibilities; it’s a treasure hunt for me!
