The following is an interview with Debora, a recent visitor to the Colorado high country who decided to use Summit Express for her airport transpiration. Debora had a relative handle the booking process, so this will be focused more on the travel experience rather than the booking.
Q – What were your first impressions of Summit Express on the day you were traveling into Denver?
D – I was relieved that I wasn’t going to have to rent a car and drive through a snow storm. I appreciated the notifications I received on my phone. They informed me who the driver was and shared the vehicle number. This helped me to feel secured as a solo traveler.
Q – How would you describe the process of finding the shuttle at DIA?
D – They gave me the exact door number, baggage claim number, and island number so I knew where to find the shuttle. Even the gentleman who helped transport me through the airport was impressed.
Q – How would you describe the professionalism of your Summit Express driver?
D – From the moment we got to the shuttle, he got us checked in immediately. He asked us which bags we wanted to keep with us in our seats. He offered us water right away which helped us acclimatize to the altitude, and continued to offer us water several times throughout the ride.
Q – What was your drivers name?
D – Chris Howell.
Q – How was the ride into the mountains?
D – As soon as we got ready to go, Chris was in contact with dispatch checking road conditions and making sure we had the safest route. He reached out for road condition updates several times along the drive, which made me feel confident. He was even considerate with how late it was and how tired we were by being friendly, but respected the fact that most of the passengers probably needed to rest. The lady next to me was supposed to meet up with a friend, he gave her some good advice on how to coordinate the meet up. That showed that he was very attentive to the needs of his passengers.
Q – Was the shuttle comfortable?
D – Yes, comfortable chairs and low music made the drive very nice. It was also very clean.
Q – How was the drop off process at your destination?
D – As we got close to Silverthorne he was in contact with Dispatch again to arrange individual transportation for the passengers to their final destination. They grabbed the bags and got everyone to the appropriate vehicle very efficiently. He clearly communicated the drop off order of the passengers and delivered me right to the front door of my accommodations. He got my bags out and waited for my family to greet me.
Q – Over all, how would you describe your experience with Summit Express?
D – I would definitely book with them again and I’ve already suggested it to some friends. The peace of mind of having professional transportation made my travel experience much more relaxing. I could tell that Chris was a very experienced driver and he navigated I-70 in a safe and skillful manner.
Even if I thought it was easier to drive my own car, I’d still ride with Summit Express in the future,
