Cancellation Policy
We require a credit card to make a reservation. Reservations canceled within 24 hours of the anticipated date of travel are non-refundable. You may also choose to retain a store credit for your shuttle service for 1 year from the original date of purchase which is fully transferable to friends and family at no additional charge. All canceled Private Charters are subject to a $25 administrative fee.
Quotes
If you received a quote regarding our services it consists of fares and availability. The fare rates are valid for 24 hrs from the time you receive your Quote email confirmation. The availability portion we can not guarantee on shared shuttles or private charter service for any length of time. Your specific Shuttle pick-up time or Private Charter option may not be available when you call back again.
Denver Airport Pickup Information
Upon arrival at Denver International Airport please collect your belongings from Baggage Claim and meet your scheduled driver at the East Side, Level 5, Door 513, Island 1 – Mountain Carrier. If you arrive early there is inside seating next to Door 511. Please wait there until you see the Summit Express Van pull up to Island 1. If you have any issues once you arrive to Denver International Airport please contact the Summit Express Reservation office at 970-668-6000.
For Departures from the mountain
For departures from the mountains, you will receive a phone call or SMS text the night before to confirm/verify your pick up location and time. If you do not have a US Cell Phone please call Summit Express the night before your pick up to confirm your pick up location and time 970-668-6000.
Controlled Substances
Smoking of any type and drinking alcohol on a shared shuttle is prohibited. You will be riding to or from the mountains with other guests and will not be allowed to smoke or drink alcohol.
Private Charter Service
Complimentary bottled water & Minimum Driver Gratuity (private charters only) is included. Arrival Charters include a 30 minute stop which may be used for groceries, dinner, etc. Any stop requests beyond 30 minutes will be charged at $100 per hour, per vehicle and will be billed in fifteen (15) minute increments. The included 30 minute stop only applies to Arrival Charters and any requested stops on Departure Charters will be billed at $100 an hour.
Limitations of Liability
Summit Express will not be responsible for delays caused by weather, road, or traffic conditions, or any other conditions beyond our control. Any expenses arising as a result of delayed departure or arrival times, including missed flights or travel connections, are the responsibility of the passenger. Summit Express will re-book you on the next available shuttle. Airline contact information will be provided if you need assistance for missed flights.
Luggage Policy
Due to space constraints, 2 bags and a purse/laptop bag that will fit between your feet are included for free (including skis, boards, boot bags or golf clubs).
Each additional bag will be subject to a $50 fee, each direction.
If the oversized item is larger than 5 feet in any way (except skis/boards) the guest must book a private charter. Large items must be in a bag or box.
Summit Express is not responsible for bags or items in bags that are damaged. Valuables and breakable items should be kept with you at all times such as cell phones, laptops, tablets, etc.
Your ski/snowboard bags may travel outside of the vehicle and are subject to varying weather conditions, such as snow, slush, and water. If it’s a snow day, your bag will get wet and dirty after the trip. Please do not store clothes or items that cannot get wet in your ski/snowboard bag – unless you are okay with them being exposed to the elements. We are not liable for wet/dirty/damaged ski/snowboard bags.
Car Seat Policy
Please make sure you bring your own car seat OR let us know if you need a car seat or booster seat. The State of Colorado REQUIRES a rear facing car seat up to 1 year of age and up to 20 lbs. Children ages 1-4 and between 20 lbs-40 lbs MUST ride in a rear or forward facing car seat. Children ages 4-8 may ride in a forward facing car seat or booster car seat, unless they are over 57 inches tall or weigh more than 80 lbs.
Pet Policy
Summit Express accepts all service animals as defined by the ADA. Please call 970-744-6726 in order to make your reservation with your service animal.
Small pets which are allowed in the cabin of the airplane are allowed on Shared Shuttles for a fee of $35. The Pet Carrier counts as the guest’s carry-on bag. The pet must remain at all times in the airline approved carrier. No pet may travel without a guest and they may NOT ride outside of a carrier for the safety of the other guests and the pet.
Larger pets/emotional support animals that fly in the cargo area of the airplane are only allowed on Summit Express Private Car service.

Summit and Eagle County destinations offer free public transportation in and around your resort town and to the other destinations within Summit County. Vail, CO offers its own transportation buses to get you around Vail. Check out summitstage.com or check to see if your hotel/resort/lodge offers transportation services around town as well.
